GoT Themed Outfit

Hello wonderful people! How have you all been?
My life is feeling rather empty at the moment with the lack of Game of Thrones episodes. I need my weekly dose of fantasy, medieval warfare and conspiracy plotting. So when Amy from Fanny Crown told me check out their wide range of formal gowns, I was automatically drawn to pieces that could fit in to the GoT theme. After pages of scrolling, I finally settled on this stunning V Neck Gown that Margaery would love to get her boobs in hehe.

No really though, look how amazing this V neck is? Imagine dat cleavage you would get mhmm!

To style this dress, I envisioned Margaery sitting in her bed chambers getting dressed for the day.
Whilst her hand maiden made swift work of her waterfall hair, Margaery stared in to her reflection in the mirror. Without much hesitance, she firmly secured the two golden rose earrings in to each ear lobe before sighing . Surrounded by Lannisters, it only seemed fair for her to be able to don her family sigil as much as she could. Thus, with a slight gesture of her hand she instructed her hand maiden to fasten the lightly tinted-pink gold necklace around her neck. Leaning closer to the mirror, she light applied a thin coat of baby pink lipstick before puckering her lips and smirking. Standing up, she glanced down at the heels Grandmother had insisted would ensure no men could overlook her. With a bounce in her step, she thanked her hand maiden whilst she exited her chambers to face her future husband.

Hehe. Well yes, that was just a small drabble of how I imagine Margaery would get ready in the morning (I have yet to read much of the books so I apologize if I did not do justice to Margaery! Please just focus on the outfit!)

I really wish that I had some sort of formal event so that I could wear this! Although, maybe it’s lucky that I don’t have anything on because it’d be pretty hard to decide if I would wear this Margaery style dress OR one of these two others I found below. The first Black Gown would be a good representative of Sansa’s new makeover that we saw emerge in Season 4. And the second silver gown would look absolutely stunning if you were to go down the Targaryen pathway!

Dance with the dragons in this Targaryen-esque dress over here.

As you can see I had quite a bit of fun with styling the dresses that Fanny Crown had on display for my viewing!
The site is definitely jam packed with amazing dresses and if I am ever in need of a formal gown, I would be heading straight to this site for choices. I should also mention that they have wedding dresses. Yes. I know!!! If you’re like me, you absolutely love lusting over what kind of dress you may wear at your wedding one day! Based on my body type, I’m definitely thinking of an A-Line type of dress hmm. But ah, I regress! That won’t be happening for quite some time, so until then …please invite me to events where I can wear long flowing dresses!

Also until the 30th July, you can get a 15% discount code if you use: MELLUDEE14 at checkout!

Which dress would you pick out of the three?!

Beauty of the Rose

Hello everyone! I hope you all had an enjoyable Valentines Day ♥
Please tell me all the wonderful goss and details of what you did and what you wore! I thankfully had a lot of options for Valentines Day outfits, one being this lovely dress that Cherry from Rose WholeSale sent me recently.

Whilst I didn’t actually wear it for Valentines, I did wear it to the boyfriend’s birthday dinner last week! Unfortunately, I didn’t have any photos of my outfit from that night since I felt a bit mean asking him to take photos  of me on his birthday(!!!) so I had to retake them on one of my off days. It’s obviously more of a night dress but you get the point!

When I first saw this dress listed as only $12.40, I was a bit sceptical – I mean, sure, dresses can be cheap but that usually means they aren’t that amazing either haha. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this dress was better than I was expecting! The material is quite thick, with small, pretty lace detailing on the shoulders and neckline.  I really enjoy the little slit on the side, as it gives it a nice asymmetrical look. Pretty perfect for an nice dinner out in my opinion ;)

Unfortunately, this particularly dress is a one size only (which I prayed very hard that I would hopefully fit in to)
Thankfully, I did. I know I’m not a skinny model, so please ignore my rolls and lumps :P I also found it slightly too short, and hence had a little bit of problem with it riding up. Note: It also has no support for your boobs, so wear a good bra and hollywood tape to keep them in place hahaha. Otherwise, you’ll constantly adjusting them to sit decently on yourself.

Overall, I’m really happy with how the dress turned out for it’s price and I’m glad to add this to my wardrobe!
Rose WholeSale is pretty jampacked filled with clothing (men’s too!), accessories, jewellery, shoes, bags etc. In fact, I’m fairly sure I spent a few nights trawling through each of their pages to find something I was after! So I definitely recommend going through the site if you’re after some new clothes that won’t cost you a fortune! ♥
