Review: EOS Shimmering Pink

Hello gorgeous people ~ ♥
Earlier this week, I received some gorgeous pink lenses from mukuCHU!

I always get really excited when I see that I’ve received lenses that are colours I don’t usually wear, like pink. As a note, even though I absolutely love pink for lots of things, I don’t think I’m very used to having pink eyes hehe. But still! I think they’re awesome if you’re looking for something more out there. Yeah? Anyway, on to the review !

Review: EOS J-101 Shimmering Pink

You can buy them from here

To be honest, when I first saw these in their package, I wasn’t really expecting much.
I’m used to wearing lenses with a dark ring around them; and well, a variation in colour. But these were just plain, pink with not much design on it at all. I was quite sceptical about them, and predicted that the colour probably wouldn’t show up very well when I wore them.  But, I was wrong! The colour turned out to shine pretty well against my brown eyes!

Colour: ♥♥♥♥♡ They were a perfect baby pink, in my opinion. And although, I don’t usually prefer this shade of pink for my eye colour; I actually liked it quite a bit. Although, on a side note, I feel that the colour was too base colour-ish? Like, it should’ve had a little more of a varied shades in the colour.
Design: ♥♥♡♡♡As you can see, there is hardly any design on it at all. Just the plain colour. I feel like it should’ve had a bit more of a pattern? Or an alternating shade perhaps?
Comfort: ♥♥♥♥♡ I wore it for a few hours and it felt completely fine! Although, they didn’t seem to stay on my eye very well .. (To see what I mean, refer to the text and photos below ..)
Enlargement: ♥♡♡♡♡ There was a large clear area; and hence even though it is stated to be 14.0mm, I think it should be less than that. And not to mention it looked as if they were the same size as my own eyes. *refer to the text below for more explanation as to what I am talking about.
Overall: ♥♥♡♡♡ –  I actually didn’t like these very much and wouldn’t consider repurchasing. Although, I am interested in to seeing how well the other colours shows up!

As you can see in these photos, you could see the edge of my irises along the sides of the pink lenses.
And this by the way, has never happened to me before. When I adjust the lenses to sit perfectly on my eyes, it seemed that they were nearly exactly the same size as my own eyes – which, for some people may be wonderful – but for me, not so much. I prefer to have an enlarging effect on my lenses rather than a similar eye colour.

In any case, I guess, I liked how well the colour showed up in these lenses.
And I would definitely recommend these lenses to anyone who wants just a plain colour change in their eye colour without having too many pretty effects or enlargement!
(Ahhh, Manifest is tomorrow and I’m feeling so sick!! ;__; Why must this happen to meeeee noww !)

Where would you wear pink lenses to?

I think I’d only wear pink lenses for cosplay reasons; or possibly just to be a little different on that day xP
